Just the Facts!!!!!A few things…
- Please make sure you order lunches and snacks for your child. The order form is emailed to your email address through Option C. Please try to have the weekly form filled out by Monday morning at 8am. Your children really do enjoy being able to get the snack, or lunch, or both. Please pack a lunch and snack just in case they do not like what is being offered. I cannot stress this enough. Sometimes it is easier to order what the school has but your child may not like it. Lunch and snack will be provided only on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
- There will be no homework this week. Please note, starting in January, if homework is missing it will be marked on Option C.
- Pencil cases will be sent home to be cleaned out during Christmas break. Please make sure there are 5 sharpened pencils, crayons, erasers, glue stick, highlighter, dry erase marker and eraser, and scissors in the pencil cases. Please return the pencil cases on Monday January 3rd. Check the website to make sure your child has their supplies. Some of our friends are missing headphones, a mouse, etc. Girls will need to bring in the following supplies: 2 boxes of tissues, 1 roll of towels, 1 large pack of napkins, 1 container of baby wipes, 1 large container of hand sanitizer, and 1 Clorox wipes.
- Please make sure you go over the weekly sight words. It is very important that the children know their sight words.
- Please check the emails that are sent from Option C. They do contain important information.
- Dress Code will be enforced when we return to school on January 3rd. Please look at the following from the handbook to help with the uniform: DRESS CODE Neatness and cleanliness in personal attire are part of a child’s education and the responsibility of the parents. Students are expected to come to school well-groomed as good grooming leads to personal self-respect and effective academic performance. When a child looks and feels good about himself/herself, he/she acts and works to the best of their ability. Any student not in compliance with the dress code will be subject to a conduct notice. Personal appearances that constitute distraction are not permitted. Final approval/disapproval is at the discretion of the principal.
